Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin Sina Coşkun

Assoc. Prof. Hüseyin Sina Coşkun is a faculty member in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. His main interest is scoliosis and spine surgery; he also treats patients across other areas of orthopaedics and traumatology, including knee and hip replacement and complex fractures and dislocations.

He completed his medical degree at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. During his studies, in 2011, he was an observer in paediatric orthopaedics at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in the USA. From 2013 to 2018 he trained in orthopaedics and traumatology at Ondokuz Mayıs University; during this time, in 2017, he was a clinical observer in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at Horsens Regional Hospital in Denmark.

After qualifying as a specialist, he worked at Samsun Training and Research Hospital. In 2020 he returned to Ondokuz Mayıs University as an Assistant Professor, and in 2021 he completed a scoliosis and spine surgery fellowship at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital / Istanbul Spine Center. He became an Associate Professor in 2023.
